ONE CX1 Service Update #14 – Hydrological Situation Update in Manaus
ONE Customer,
ONE continues to closely monitor the conditions of the Rio Negro river in Manaus and would like to share the latest updates on the hydrological situation in the region, as of this past week.
The river level continues to rise daily, although with a lower flow observed over the past few days. Comparison: River levels from July to now.
Comparison: River flow from late July to now, including relevant deviations.
According to Super Terminais (Manaus Port Terminal), the floating pier is expected to return from Itacoatiara to Manaus by mid-December. Additionally, the Port Authority has informed us that the Mercosul Suape will be the first vessel to transit through the critical points on November 26th, with a draft of 7.5 meters, slightly ahead of initial forecasts.
Update on ONE Vessel – Hansa Asia (Draft: 8.70m)
Since confirmation of berthing at Itacoatiara and/or Manaus must be made approximately 50 hours before the vessel's maneuver, we will continue monitoring the river level daily. All decisions will be based on the most up-to-date conditions.
