Strengthening regional growth while advancing global alignment.

São Paulo, April 7, 2026 – Throughout the month of April, Ocean Network Express (ONE) is celebrating its 8th anniversary, a milestone marked by the reinforcement of its commitment to the future. As part of this celebration, the company highlights key leadership updates across Latin America that became effective on April 1, 2026. Building on its journey of growth, innovation, and customer-centricity, these changes further strengthen ONE’s regional structure while aligning with its global leadership transition.

As part of this evolution, Jean-Pierre Thorin has assumed the role of Vice President of C&I (Corporate & Innovation), succeeding Tomoya Ishigaki, who played a key role in advancing the function in recent years. At the same time, ONE has welcomed back Gilberto Santos to the region after two years at its Global Headquarters in Singapore. He has taken on the role of Country Head of ONE Peru, succeeding Jean-Pierre.

In Panama, Julio de la Lastra has transitioned to an advisory role, while Miguel Rodriguez has stepped into the position of Country Head of ONE Panama, ensuring continuity and local expertise in a key market.

These regional updates are closely aligned with ONE’s global leadership transition. Jeremy Nixon will become Senior Advisor effective July 1, 2026. Till Ole Barrelet will join as CEO-designate on May 1, 2026, and subsequently assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. This planned succession reflects ONE’s long-term vision and its focus on a strong and future-ready global organization.

At the same time, ONE maintains a stable and experienced leadership structure across Latin America. The Regional Headquarters continues under the leadership of Colin de Souza, supported by Vice Presidents Shin Kimura (Product & Network) and Luciana Sasso (Marketing & Commercial). Across the region, strong local leadership remains in place with Artur Bezerra (Brazil), Fernando Maggi (Argentina), Edwin Escobar (Chile), Ronny Zuñiga (Ecuador), Lucy Valencia (Costa Rica), Alejandro Navas (Colombia), Cesar Falcón (Guatemala), Paulo Biazotti (Mexico), and Pablo Dominguez (Uruguay).

“Celebrating eight years of ONE this April is not only a moment to reflect on our journey, but also to look ahead,” said Colin de Souza, President of ONE Latin America. “The leadership updates effective since the start of the month reflect our commitment to building a strong, agile, and united organization across the region. We are confident in our new appointees and grateful to those who have contributed to our growth so far.”

Over the past eight years, ONE has established itself as a key player in global shipping, driven by innovation, operational excellence, and a strong focus on customer needs. By combining fresh perspectives with proven regional expertise, ONE Latin America is well positioned to continue delivering greater value, efficient operations, and innovative shipping solutions to its customers and partners.
