Temporary suspension of demurrage & detention (counting) and cancellation fee in Rio Grande

ONE Customer,

We, as ONE, have been closely monitoring the situation in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, located in the south of Brazil. We have mobilized to provide humanitarian aid and would like to share measures implemented to help minimize the impact of the events on our clients and partners.

All Demurrage & Detention of containers at the Port of Rio Grande are temporarily suspended from April 29, 2024 until May 31, 2024. The extension will be reevaluated after 05/31. 

Cancellation fee charges for export bookings with POL Rio Grande are also suspended for the same period (29/4 to 31/5).

We emphasize that all surcharges generated at/by the port, which are not under ONE’s responsibility, must be reviewed directly with the port administration.
