Update #13 – Weekly Hydrological Situation Update in Manaus (CX1 Service)

ONE Customer,

We are closely monitoring the hydrological conditions in the Manaus region. In recent days, we have observed a slight rise in the water level of the Rio Negro, which reached 12.25 meters this Thursday (17). However, according to the Brazilian Geological Service (SGB), this rise does not yet signify the end of the drought. This phenomenon, known as a "sudden water level fluctuation" or “repiquete”, is typical of the rivers in the Amazon, with these fluctuations reflecting the usual behavior during this time of year.

Although this rise signals a reduction in the intense drop, we continue to monitor the conditions, and our operations remain active and adapted through the port of Itacoatiara. We emphasize the importance of keeping up with our updates and contingency plans on the Manaus Dry Season page on ONE Brazil’s website.
