UPDATE#6 ONE CX1 - MONITORING THE 2025 MANAUS DRY SEASON
ONE Customer,
In our commitment to the transparency and security of your operations, we would like to inform you that the water level of the Rio Negro in Manaus continues to recede. We are closely monitoring the situation, and our Caribbean Service 1 (CX1) is currently operating normally at the ports of Manaus and Vila do Conde.
According to the 35th Hydrological Alert Bulletin of the Amazon Basin, the river level in Manaus is at 2638 cm (26.38 m). The Rio Negro is in a continuous low-water period, with regular daily declines and levels that are near the normal range for this time of year.
Update on Low Water Surcharge (LWS)
Due to the river's current condition, which still allows for navigation, the effective date for the Low Water Surcharge (LWS) has been changed to September 15, 2025. This surcharge will apply to all trade lanes and services to/from Brazil (Manaus and Porto Velho Ports) and will remain valid until further notice.
Applicable Charge and Effective Date:
- LOW WATER SURCHARGE (LWS): USD 975 per TEU
- Effective Date (all services): September 15, 2025
