UPDATE#9 - ONE CX1 NAVIGATION AND MONITORING UPDATE - RIO NEGRO, MANAUS 2025
Customer ONE,
As part of our continued commitment to transparency and operational safety, we are closely
monitoring the situation of the Rio Negro in Manaus. Our focus is to ensure logistical planning with the highest efficiency and safety.
To support logistical planning for companies operating in the region, the Navy has also started providing five-day river level forecasts, which are being closely monitored by ONE.
HYDROLOGICAL UPDATE
According to the 43rd Amazon Basin Hydrological Bulletin, although the Rio Negro continues to recede (average daily drop of 7 cm), the current level recorded at the Port of Manaus (19.19 m) is significantly higher than that observed at the same time in 2024 (12.50 m).
The Western Amazon River Captaincy (CFAOC) of the Brazilian Navy has issued a new update on navigation procedures between Itacoatiara and Manaus. The latest projections affect the Recommended Maximum Draft (CMR) for the region. Our team is continuously monitoring these restrictions to ensure that there is no impact on your cargo. At this time, our vessel operations remain in compliance with the established recommendations.
We remain at your disposal for any questions or assistance you may need. Please contact your ONE
