NEW GUIDELINES ON EXCHANGING EMPTY CONTAINER UNITS BETWEEN BOOKINGS

ONE Customer,

In our commitment to ensuring an efficient operation aligned with the best market practices, we emphasize that empty containers must be used exclusively under the same booking in which they were released.

Considering the importance of maintaining the integrity of empty units, we would like to inform you that starting February 1, 2025, ONE will implement a new directive regarding the exchange of empty container units. A correction charge will be applied per unit exchanged between bookings other than the original one, according to the tariff published on our website.

Additionally, any possibility of waiver or dispute of detention charges will be suspended if the units have been exchanged between bookings.

EXCEPTION TO THE EMPTY CONTAINER EXCHANGE PROCEDURE

In cases where ONE needs to cancel bookings due to violations of FMC rules and/or discrepancies in NCM classification, it will be permitted to link the containers to other bookings as necessary to continue the process.

We emphasize that any exchange must be previously consulted and expressly authorized by ONE, incurring an additional cost per unit, except in cases covered by the exception mentioned above.

We appreciate your understanding and collaboration in maintaining agile, transparent, and efficient operations. If you have any questions, please contact our support team through our digital channels.

Thank you for shipping with ONE.
