UPDATE #10 - NEW FEATURE ON THE MANAUS DRY SEASON WEBPAGE
ONE Customer,
Due to the timing of the operation in Itacoatiara, we have developed a new tool to make your experience easier during the dry season in Manaus. You can now follow which barge your container is being loaded onto before they arrive at the port of Manaus. The information will be available for research as soon as the CX1 vessel with its cargo begins operations in Itacoatiara.
If the message “Barge not Defined” appears, it means that we have not yet received the information from the terminal or that the container is not yet connected to a barge. To access this new feature or find out more about this and other measures we are taking to minimize the impacts of the drought, visit our website: Manaus Dry Season.
Current Hydrological Situation: According to the SGB's 36th bulletin, the Negro River continues to fall significantly in Manaus, showing daily variations of up to 25 cm, with the current level 1.90 m below what is considered normal for this time of year. The Amazon River basin is also facing significant lows, in Itacoatiara and Parintins.
