We are actively managing our contingency strategies to ensure service continuity, and we are pleased to confirm that the Caribbean Express 1 (CX1) service serving Manaus and Vila do Conde continues to operate as scheduled without interruption.
According to the 30th Hydrological Alert Bulletin of the Amazon Basin issued by the Brazilian Geological Survey (SGB), the ebbing trend persists across the basin. In Manaus, the Negro River registered a reduction of 30 cm over the past week, with the water level currently standing at 27.49m. Overall, river levels remain above the historical median and within the expected normal range for this time of year.

Based on preliminary communications from the Local Port Authority (Capitania Fluvial da Amazônia Ocidental) and hydrological forecasts, the river conditions remain suitable, and no draft restrictions are expected before the second half of September. Hydrological minimums for 2026 may be lower than those of 2025. Potential draft limits will be reassessed continuously following future bathymetric reports and climate updates.
