Kindly note that Amazon River still allows navigation and for this reason we will suspend LWS tariff at this time. We will keep monitoring the river situation and keep you posted. 

Please be informed that due to the slower-than estimated decrease in water levels on the Amazon River, we are again postponing the implementation of the Low Water Surcharge (LWS). The effective date is being moved from November 01st to November 15th, 2025.

As part of our continued commitment to transparency and operational safety, we are closely monitoring the situation of the Rio Negro in Manaus. The Western Amazon River Captaincy (CFAOC), part of the Brazilian Navy, has issued a new update regarding navigation procedures between Itacoatiara and Manaus, due to the ongoing decrease in the Amazon River water levels.

This notice serves as an update regarding the Low Water Surcharge (LWS) applicable to/from Brazil (Manaus and Porto Velho Ports). Please be informed that due to the slower-than estimated decrease in water levels on the Amazon River, we are again postponing the implementation of the Low Water Surcharge (LWS).
